Slightly off, kinda colorful, and with random celebrities. Its characters are really good at trying to get you to close your eyes and sit on the edge of your seat. Anyway, i've recently read alice's adventures in wonderland and was a bit surprised by how funny, fascinating, and quite clever it was. Once you accept that the film looks more like tim burton's variation on the theme rather than a faithful adaptation, then it promises to be a dark treat indeed, says anna pickard.
